The Second Building of Science and Engineering, lying to the east campus, was completed and began to perform its function in the middle of June 2002. This building is designed for the School of Sciences and Engineering and also provides research and education space for Departments of Applied Physics, Applied Chemistry, Applied Mathematics, and Life Sciences. The round shape of the building is intended to bring about a closer relationship between the departments and to provide an amiable environment for faulty and students.
